India Announces Stringent Diplomatic and Security Measures in Response to Pahalgam Terror Attack

Intelligence inputs presented during the meeting pointed to direct cross-border links. These links indicate that the attack may have been orchestrated by groups operating from Pakistani territory. The incident comes at a time of peaceful elections in Jammu and Kashmir. There is a return to normalcy and economic progress. This makes the attack appear timed to disrupt stability.
