BCCI Announces Central Contracts for 2024-25: Full List of 34 Players and Their Grades

Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer Make a Comeback

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the central contract list for the 2024-25 season. It spans from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. This year, 34 players have been awarded contracts. Notable inclusions are Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan. They return after being excluded last season.

Top Stars in Grade A+

As anticipated, senior players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli continue to hold their spots in the elite Grade A+ category. Jasprit Bumrah, the pace spearhead, joins them. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is also included. Together, they round off the group of four in the highest tier.

Grade A Features Consistent Performers

Grade A includes key performers across formats. These include pacers Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami. Batting stalwarts KL Rahul and Shubman Gill are also part of this grade. Additionally, there is an explosive all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant also retains his place in this grade.

Shreyas Iyer Returns in Grade B

Suryakumar Yadav is a fixture in India’s T20 setup. He headlines the Grade B list. Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and emerging star Yashasvi Jaiswal join him in this category. Shreyas Iyer, making his return, also finds a spot in this group.
