Giant Python Infestation Sparks Panic in Meerut

The repeated sightings of gigantic pythons have further terrified the residents.

A tunnel filled with giant pythons has been discovered in Meerut’s Jagriti Vihar Sector-2, causing panic among local residents. The presence of these massive snakes, which have already preyed on several animals, has left the neighborhood in fear. People worry that if the situation is not controlled, a human may become their next victim. The forest department team is working to capture the pythons, but tension remains high in the area.

Multiple Giant Pythons Found

According to reports, the tunnel is located in a deserted area covered with dense trees. On Thursday, a python measuring around 7-8 feet was spotted near the tunnel. Earlier, two more pythons were seen in the same area. One was 12 feet long. Another was a shocking 30 feet long. While the forest department successfully caught the 12-foot python, the 30-foot one remains at large. The repeated sightings of gigantic pythons have further terrified the residents.

Anger Over Forest Department’s Inaction

Local residents have expressed frustration with the forest department, accusing them of negligence. Despite multiple python sightings, no large-scale operation has been launched to tackle the problem. Student leader Vineet Chaprana alerted the authorities, but so far, there has been no concrete action.

Threat to Animals and Livestock

The power station in the area often attracts stray and domestic animals. Many of these animals have mysteriously disappeared in recent days. Locals believe that these pythons are responsible for the missing animals. Given their size and increasing number, they pose a danger to both animals and humans.

How Many More Pythons Are There?

The biggest mystery remains why there are so many pythons in this area. Are there more hidden inside the tunnel? What caused them to suddenly come out? Some speculate that rising temperatures are forcing the snakes out, while others fear an unknown factor is attracting them.

Residents have urged the forest department to launch a full-scale operation. They want to clear the area and guarantee public safety before it’s too late.
