Rajnath Singh Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack, Vows Decisive Action

New Delhi, April 23, 2025 — Defence Minister Rajnath Singh broke his silence after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. He asserted that India will deliver a firm response. This response will be unforgettable to those responsible. Singh spoke at an Indian Air Force event. This followed a high-level meeting with the chiefs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. He declared that the country’s enemies will soon face consequences. These consequences will be so impactful that “the world will take note.”

India’s Strength Cannot Be Undermined by Terror

Singh addressed the nation’s grief. He emphasized that India is one of the world’s oldest civilizations and largest democracies. It cannot be shaken by acts of terror. “These cowardly attacks do not frighten us. We have faced such challenges before, and we will overcome this one too. Those responsible will face justice in a manner that will be visible and unforgettable,” he said.

He further added that the government would take every possible action. They aim to trace the masterminds of this attack. They will punish those plotting against the sovereignty of India. “We will not spare the culprits. Those behind this heinous act will be held accountable. It does not matter if they pulled the trigger or orchestrated the plot from behind the scenes.”

Nation Stands United in Grief and Resolve

Rajnath Singh offered his heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the attack. “I deeply mourn the loss of innocent lives in this inhumane act. My prayers are with the bereaved families. May the departed souls find peace,” he said.
