Movie Review
Jolly LLB3 has all the reasons needed in a film to watch in theatres. First half hour for obvious reasons is little slow as it establishes the premises. Film gets picks up the pace very soon and gets even engaging in second half. Director Subhash Kapoor has courageously delivered an impactful cinema.
The courtroom drama served with a twist by two Jollys together fighting a case on farmer suicide and more.
Jolly LLB 3 just like its previous two parts will make you laugh and cry at the same time. Starring Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Seema Biswas and others. Both the Jollys set aside their hunger for earning money. They put their neck on the line to fight for an old woman, Seema Biswas. She is left with nothing except the memories of her husband and her other family members.
Stellar Performance by Star Cast
Not just one of the biggest films of the year, Jolly LLB 3 is thought provoking. Jolly LLB3 carries forward a legacy that redefined courtroom drama with wit and heart. It brings both the Jollys together for the very first time. Akshay Kumar’s Jolly Mishra from Kanpur confronts Arshad Warsi’s Jolly Tyagi from Meerut. Their clash promises to be historic.
Judge Tripathi (Saurabh Shukla) is caught in the crossfire. Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Gajraj Rao add more colour to an already colourful movie. Ram Kapoor does his part well as a rich advocate fighting for an even richer businessman. Seema Biswas will make you realise something special. Her expression of piercing sadness shows that silence can be powerful too. Her last cry for justice will tear you apart. She is indeed an actress with immense calibre. She is the only female character of any importance in the entire film. Both Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao’s roles are just ornamental and could have been made slightly meaty.
Jolly LLB3 may not be as humorous as the previous two parts. However, it recreates the charm and intensity that made the franchise iconic. The share of laughter may be a little less compared to the previous two. However, the messaging is relevant. Gajraj Rao’s performance is brilliant too and he is that man in the film whom you can’t stop hating!
