Ram Gopal Varma Unites With Manoj Bajpayee for Police Station Mein Bhoot

Manoj Bajpayee and Ram Gopal Verma had teamed to bring some iconic characters in movie Satya. Manoj Bajpayee are coming together once again — this time for a haunting horror comedy titled Police Station Mein Bhoot. Joining Manoj in this intriguing cinematic experiment is Genelia D’Souza, making the collaboration even more exciting. Manoj Bajpayee shared the first look of the project, and wrote that it’s a ‘full circle’ moment for him. He announced that they have begun shooting for the horror comedy. He is thrilled to reunite with the director after 27 years!

First Look Revealed by Manoj Bajpayee

Manoj Bajpayee shared the first look motion poster of ‘Police Station Mein Bhoot’. It shows him clutching a creepy doll covered in blood. A chilling voice whispers “I see you” in the background. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “#PoliceStationMeinBhoot SHOOT BEGINS From Satya to now… some journeys are meant to come full circle. Thrilled to reunite with @rgvzoomin after nearly three decades for our new horror comedy Police Station Mein Bhoot. This one is special. @geneliad @vauve.emirates @karmamediaent @uentertainmenthub #PoliceStationMeinBhootMovie.” The text on the poster reads, “You can’t arrest the dead.”

Genelia Excited to Work with Iconic Artists

Meanwhile, Genelia Deshmukh also shared the first look poster, and wrote, “First time stepping into a world where fear meets fun. Had a scarily good time sharing the screen with @bajpayee.manoj in POLICE STATION MEIN BHOOT, directed by the maverick @RGVzoomin.

A thriller like no other, built on a chilling thought: “When we’re scared, we run to the police. But where do the police run when they’re scared?” #PoliceStationMeinBhoot.”

Filming has begun. The first schedule is already complete. This sets the stage for a gripping journey that blends fear, irony, and RGV’s signature storytelling. At its heart, there is a question that flips the very idea of safety. We run to the police station when we are scared. But where will the police run when they are scared?

Ram Gopal Varma on Reuniting with Manoj Bajpayee

Speaking about the project, Ram Gopal Varma said: “Working with Manoj again after Satya is both nostalgic and thrilling. Fear becomes most frightening when it challenges the highest authority of safety, and a police station is the ultimate symbol of power. With Manoj’s intensity and Genelia’s vulnerability, this story will push boundaries of how we perceive horror in the guise of authority.”

With this reunion of two icons and such an intriguing theme, Police Station Mein Bhoot has garnered significant anticipation. It is already considered one of the most anticipated projects in the making.
