The Assam CID’s special investigation team (SIT) detained Siddharth Sarma on Tuesday night. He is the Manager of Zubeen Garg. The team also detained Shyamkanu Mahanta. He is the Organiser of North East India Festival. They were taken from different states. Court has granted both of them on 14 days of custody. Shyamkanu Mahanta was taken into custody around 12.30 am (Wednesday) at Delhi airport. Then he was flown to Guwahati.
