DRDO Successfully Tests Indigenous Glide Bomb ‘Gaurav’ from Su-30 MKI

Precision Strike Capabilities Boosted with Near 100-km Range India has successfully tested its homegrown Long-Range Glide Bomb (LRGB) ‘Gaurav’. The release trials were conducted from a Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft between April 8 and 10, 2025. The bomb was tested against a land-based target on an island. It demonstrated high precision and achieved a range close to 100 kilometers. Developed Under DRDO's Leadership ‘Gaurav’ is a 1,000-kg class guided bomb.
