Former US President Donald Trump has once again grabbed headlines. This time it’s with a flashy AI-generated video showcasing his “vision” for Gaza as a luxurious tourist paradise. The video was posted on his official Instagram account. It imagines a transformed, glitzy coastline called “Trump Gaza.” The vision includes pristine beaches, high-rise hotels, nightclubs, and even a giant gold statue of Trump himself.
The video opens with stark images of Gaza’s current destruction. These images are labeled “Gaza 2025.” It then dramatically shifts to an opulent, futuristic city. A techno beat plays in the background, featuring lyrics like: “Donald Trump will set you free. No more tunnels, no more fear. Trump Gaza is finally here.” The AI-generated footage also features Tesla CEO Elon Musk. He is shown raining money from the sky. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also present, sipping a cocktail with Trump.
The over-the-top visuals immediately set social media ablaze. Some users found it amusing, calling it “peak Trump,” while others labeled it “insensitive.” One comment read, “This feels like a rejected GTA trailer.” Another joked, “Okay, maybe I should’ve voted for Kamala.”
Trump had first floated the idea of “rebuilding” Gaza under US control during a February 4 press conference with Netanyahu. “We will own it and make it great,” he said, envisioning a “world-class destination” on the Mediterranean. Netanyahu, ever the diplomat, called it an “interesting idea.”
Not everyone was thrilled with the concept. France and Turkey dismissed it as unrealistic, while the UK and Russia reiterated their support for a two-state solution. Hamas, unsurprisingly, called the proposal “absurd.”
Trump’s AI-powered dream of “Trump Gaza” may never materialize. However, it has certainly added fuel to the internet’s never-ending fascination with his larger-than-life ideas. Whether it’s a genuine vision or just another headline-grabbing stunt, one thing is clear—Trump knows how to keep people talking.
