They appreciated the ongoing and remarkable expansion of the bilateral defence partnership, and reaffirmed their commitment to deepen the ties.
In particular, Rajnath Singh and Pete Hesgeth decided to work together on technology cooperation. They also aimed to integrate defence industrial supply chains. Their goal includes enhanced interoperability, logistics, and information sharing. Additionally, joint military exercises were discussed. They also agreed to give enhanced support to the growing defence innovation collaboration. This collaboration involves governments, start-ups, businesses, and academic institutions. India and US agreed to draft a comprehensive framework on defence cooperation. This framework aims to structure the bilateral collaboration for the period 2025-2035.
