Aamir Khan Introduces Girlfriend Gauri Ahead of Birthday

Aamir Khan made headlines ahead of his 60th birthday. He introduced his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, at a media gathering in Mumbai. The actor, who has been in a relationship with Gauri for 18 months, shared details about their journey together. 

A Love Story Rekindled

Aamir and Gauri first crossed paths 25 years ago but lost touch over time. However, they reconnected a couple of years ago and have been together ever since. During the media interaction, Aamir playfully remarked, “See, I didn’t let you all find out about it.” 

Ensuring Gauri’s Security

Aamir acknowledged the attention that comes with dating a public figure. He revealed that he has taken steps to ensure Gauri’s privacy. These steps include hiring private security. Gauri, who previously lived in Bengaluru, has been married before and has a six-year-old son. Aamir shared that his family, including his children, have met Gauri and are thrilled about their relationship. 

A Nod to Lagaan 

Aamir wrapped up the conversation. He referenced his 2001 blockbuster Lagaan. He said, “Bhuvan has finally found his Gauri.” 

Aamir’s Personal Life and Upcoming Plans

Speculation about Aamir’s relationship with Gauri had been circulating online for some time. The actor was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married Kiran Rao, and they have a son, Azad. Aamir and Kiran parted ways a couple of years ago. They remain close friends. They even collaborated on Rao’s film Laapataa Ladies last year. 

On the eve of his milestone birthday, Aamir also spoke about his desire to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for a project. This will happen if they find the right script.
