Aadhaar-Voter ID Linking to Be Fast-Tracked Following Key Election Commission and Home Ministry Meeting
The process of linking Voter ID cards (EPIC) with Aadhaar numbers is set to gain momentum in the coming months. The Election Commission has committed to carrying out this initiative. It will strictly adhere to the provisions of Article 326 of the Indian Constitution. The initiative will also follow relevant sections of the Representation of the People Act, 1950.
