ALPA-I (India) Rejects AAIB’s Preliminary Investigation Report of AI Plane Crash

ALPA-I has raised serious objections. The objections are against the preliminary report regarding the Air India crash in Ahmedabad. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) had released the initial findings of the Boeing 787 investigation post midnight today. However, ALPA-I President Sam Thomas has rejected these findings. He criticized them for not being transparent. He was particularly concerned that pilots were not included in the investigation. AAIB Releases Preliminary Report for Ahmedabad Plane Crash Investigation

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) released the initial probe report. It was for the investigation into the June 12 crash of Air India flight AI 171. The accident's cause was a transition in fuel control switches. This happened three seconds after the Boeing 787-8 became airborne. Sudden Fuel Cutoff The 12-year-old Boeing Dreamliner’s fuel-control switches abruptly moved to the “CUTOFF” position from the “RUN” position one after the other.
