Yudh Abhyas 2026: US-India Troops Go From Jungle Combat to Cliffside Rappelling at Auli
US Army soldiers from the 11th Airborne Division and Indian Army soldiers from the Garhwal Regiment trained together in jungle warfare, indoor firing and rock-face rappelling at Auli during Exercise Yudh Abhyas 2026. Operating as integrated squads, the troops navigated dense vegetation, engaged targets using simulation rounds and practised combined small-unit tactics, strengthening interoperability and familiarity with each other’s tactics, techniques and procedures.
