CAT: ‘RCB Responsible for the Stampede, Police not a Magician or God’
RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) was found responsible by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). This was in relation to the stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on June 4. The team had suddenly announced a victory procession on social media. They did this without police permission. This led to a crowd of lakhs. 11 people died in this stampede.
