CPCB Confirms Ganga Water Safe for Bathing During MahaKumbh

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has released a new report. The report confirmed that the water quality at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers in Prayagraj was fit for bathing during Mahakumbh. The confluence's water quality meets bathing standards. This was during the recently concluded MahaKumbh. The report was submitted to the National Green Tribunal (NGT).
