New Delhi: The film The Diplomat is set for release soon. Ahead of the film's debut, actor John Abraham met with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Thursday. The film is set to hit theaters on Friday. It is inspired by a real-life incident. This incident involves one of Jaishankar’s former aides, senior diplomat JP Singh. JP Singh is currently India’s envoy to Israel. The movie highlights Singh’s efforts in 2017 to rescue an Indian woman, Uzma Ahmad.
