India-UK $468 Million Missile Deal: Strengthening Defence Capabilities
India and UK have finalised a $468 million deal under which the Indian army will receive 700 UK made missiles. This deal will support India’s defence and attack capabilities in the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat. It will address the future requirements of the armed forces. The deal also aims for long-term collaboration on complex weapons between the two countries. The announcement came on the second and final day of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s first official visit to India.
