Security Forces Conduct Major Counter Insurgency Operations Across Manipur
Over the past week, Manipur has witnessed sustained counter-insurgency operations of most extensive and co-ordinated nature. The operations began on July 29 and culminated on 4 August 2025. The Indian Army and Assam Rifles units closely coordinated with Manipur and other intelligence agencies. They operated in the state's most sensitive districts. These include Bishnupur, Churachandpur, Thoubal, Imphal West, and Imphal East districts in Manipur. Large Stocks of Weapons Seized The scale of seizure is striking.
