First All-Women Historic Sailing Expedition of Indian Armed Forces
Ten women officers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force will embark on a sailing expedition. This is a first for the Indian Armed Forces. This marks a milestone achievement. They will travel onboard the Indian Army Sailing Vessel (IASV) Triveni. The journey will start from the historic Gateway of India in Mumbai on 11 September 2025. The yacht, named after the confluence of three services, reflects the spirit of jointness and synergy between the three Services.
