Strong Rebuttal of Taiwan to Bangladesh and China Statement
Taipei, March 31, 2025: Taiwan has issued a strong rebuttal to Bangladesh. This was in response to its joint statement with China. The statement endorsed the “One China Principle” and dismissed Taiwan’s sovereignty. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Taipei condemned the statement. It declared that Taiwan is an independent and sovereign nation. It is not subordinate to the People’s Republic of China. The response was sharp.
