India to Modernise 200 Su-30 Jets

India is planning to Modernise its Air fleet of SU- 30 to Fifth generation Aircrafts. This option is seen as more cost effective since each Rafale Jet costs around Rs.2000 Cr. Upgrading each Sukhoi-30 to near 5th Gen will cost only Rs.125 crore. Crisis Situation Indian Air force is facing significant crisis. The Indian Air Force requires a total of 42 squadrons. Security Forces Conduct Major Counter Insurgency Operations Across Manipur

Over the past week, Manipur has witnessed sustained counter-insurgency operations of most extensive and co-ordinated nature. The operations began on July 29 and culminated on 4 August 2025. The Indian Army and Assam Rifles units closely coordinated with Manipur and other intelligence agencies. They operated in the state's most sensitive districts. PM Modi and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi also visited to pay homage to Late Shibu Soren.
