Naval Commanders’ Conference 2025: Strengthening India’s Maritime Strategy Amid China’s Rising Presence in IOR

New Delhi, April 7, 2025 — Strategic competition is intensifying in the Indo-Pacific. The second phase of the Naval Commanders’ Conference 2025 began at Nausena Bhawan, New Delhi. CNS Tripathi: A Call for Innovation and Readiness

CNS Tripathi outlined seven strategic pillars for the Navy’s advancement:

He highlighted the implications of China’s assertiveness. He discussed the shifting global alliances. He urged India to recalibrate its maritime strategy. This strategy should safeguard its interests and bolster its international standing.

During the conference, the Navy released several key publications:
