There were speculations about the US Air Force pulling out of the global defence fiesta Aero India 2025. Nonetheless, official sources have now confirmed that the US Air Force will continue to join in the event. It is hosted by India at Bengaluru between February 10-14.
The US Airforce will fly two F-16 planes to India. They will also fly two F-35 planes. These planes will be a part of the static show. Unlike the last edition of Aero India in 2023, these US fighter jets will not join in the air show. The air show is at Yelahanka. The decision followed the Trump 2.0 administration took office in January this year. Russia’s Su-57 is a fifth-generation fighter. It is expected to make its debut at Aero India 2025. The event is at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru. According to the sources, Russian Su-57 will also join in the air display at the event. This debut is being looked at as a significant step towards India’s fighter procurement program in the upcoming years.
