CM Yogi Guarantees Safety During Kanwar Yatra, No Instigator to be Spared

CM Yogi has taken charge. Kanwar Yatras, held in the month of Sawan, are almost upon us. He is personally monitoring the security and convenience arrangements for the devotees. 

He recently conducted an aerial inspection of the entire Yatra route via helicopter from Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport to Bijnor. During this, he gave clear instructions to the administration and police officials. He emphasized that no expense should be spared for the convenience, security, and respect of the devotees. He also stressed the importance of respecting their religious sentiments.

The Chief Minister clearly said that this Yatra is not just a religious event. It represents the faith and belief of crores of people. In such a situation, negligence at any level will not be tolerated at all. He emphasized on maintaining the sanctity of the Yatra. Mr. Adityanath said that the atmosphere of the Yatra should not deteriorate under any circumstances.

No Troublemaker to be Spared

The UP CM stressed that there should be constant police monitoring and deployment of adequate force on the Kanwar route. He clearly stated that strict action will be taken. This includes action against anyone who contaminates food items. It also applies to those insulting the sentiments of devotees. Those who create any kind of disturbance, quarrel, dispute or disorder during the Kanwar Yatra will not be spared.

A zero tolerance policy should be adopted in such cases. Authorities must register an FIR immediately against the accused concerned. The state government prioritizes the peaceful completion of the Yatra. They ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience.

Proper Arrangements must be Ensured

The CM said that arrangements like tents, food, and drinking water should be prioritized on the Kanwar route. Health facilities, mobile toilets, and ambulances are also essential. There should be proper accommodation arrangements for the Kanwariyas to stop. Further, proper electrical arrangements should be installed on the travel route. Street lights, barricading, and sign boards are also necessary to ensure that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.

CM Yogi instructed the officials. He told them to ensure the participation of voluntary organizations in this yatra. He also emphasized involving religious institutions and social groups. This will both help make the arrangements better, and send a message of public cooperation. The Chief Minister said that the spirit of service is the soul of this yatra. Lakhs of devotees are set to come from different parts of Uttar Pradesh to Haridwar. They will bring water from the Ganges river for Jalabhishek in Shiva temples.
