Even before the BJP formally stakes its claim to form the government in Delhi, officials have swung into action. They are preparing a 100-day action plan. This plan is for the implementation of the Vikshit Delhi Sankalp Patra 2025.
The plan is being drafted by the General Administration Department (GAD). It will outline targets to be achieved within 15 days. It will also include month-wise milestones and a comprehensive 100-day action plan.
According to the minutes of the meeting chaired by Delhi Chief Secretary Dharmendra, a Draft Cabinet Note is being prepared. It needs approval by the Council of Ministers. The note covers projects and schemes that need official clearance.
Ayushman Bharat to be Implemented in Delhi
In a significant development, the Delhi government’s Health Department has been directed to prepare a Cabinet Note. This is for the implementation of Ayushman Bharat Yojana. This is a central healthcare scheme that has not been enforced in the capital so far. The move signals a shift in the government’s approach toward adopting central welfare schemes.
Push for Central Government Schemes
Delhi government departments have received instructions. They need to prepare roadmaps for rolling out central government schemes. These schemes were not formerly implemented in the city. The Chief Secretary has ordered immediate planning for their execution.
Monsoon Preparedness: Focus on Drain Cleaning
The monsoon season is approaching. Chief Secretary Dharmendra has directed officials to desilt and clean drains across Delhi. This will prevent water logging during heavy rains. Departments have been told to take proactive measures to guarantee smooth monsoon preparedness.
A consolidated report on the 100-day action plan is set to be submitted by the GAD today (February 13). It is for review by the incoming Delhi government. The early groundwork indicates that the new administration will have a ready-to-implement roadmap as soon as it takes charge.
