Keshav Kunj: RSS’s New Power Hub in Delhi

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) new headquarters in Delhi’s Jhandewalan. More than just a building, it is a symbol of the Sangh’s expanding influence in the national capital.

A 4-acre fortress awaits visitors. It includes three towering structures, each with 12 floors and 300 rooms. The area is secured round-the-clock by central forces. Welcome to Keshav Kunj, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) new headquarters in Delhi’s Jhandewalan. More than just a building, it is a symbol of the Sangh’s expanding influence in the national capital.

This grand complex was designed by a Gujarat-based architect. Rs 150 crore in contributions from 75,000 dedicated volunteers and functionaries funded it. It is an RSS statement of intent. It is not just an office. It serves as a strategic nerve Centre. Here, the Organisations ideological and political roadmap will be drawn.

The new headquarters is a significant shift from the RSS’s old office at Udasin Ashram. The old office had become outdated and cramped. Keshav Kunj offers a modern, well-equipped space to accommodate the growing needs of the organisation. The facility has three imposing towers. It houses 300 rooms for functionaries and residential staff. There are two massive auditoriums for ideological gatherings. The library is rich with historical archives. A vast, manicured lawn is at its heart, designed for daily shakhas (morning assemblies).

The scale of the new headquarters reflects the RSS’s growing prominence in national affairs. Over the years, the organisation has played an increasingly influential role in shaping India’s political and social landscape. This modern complex serves as a command centre, where key strategies will be formulated to guide the Sangh’s future course.

With its shift to this expansive new location, the RSS has reinforced its presence in the capital. It solidified its role as a dominant ideological force in Indian politics. Keshav Kunj is not just an office—it is a fortress of influence, built to shape the future.
