Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to implement strict noise control measures. These measures target loudspeakers mounted at religious places. During a review meeting at the Circuit House, he emphasized the need to curb high-volume DJs during Holi celebrations. This is essential to maintain public order.
To enhance security, CM Yogi instructed the installation of CCTV cameras at crucial locations. This includes banks, financial institutions, shops, and commercial areas. He also issued a stern warning against cattle smuggling. Stringent actions must be taken against smugglers, vehicle owners, and any complicit police personnel. Additional Director General (ADG) Zone Piyush Mordia will conduct reviews in each district. These reviews ensure the state’s cattle smuggling ban is fully enforced.
On the development front, Adityanath ordered officials to expedite ongoing projects. They must appoint nodal officers for each under-construction initiative. Weekly inspections should be conducted. Officials also need to submit progress reports. Concerned about delays in certain projects, he directed authorities to accelerate work while maintaining quality standards.
As summer approaches, the CM instructed officials to ensure an uninterrupted water supply. He proposed beautifying flyover pillars with artistic paintings and advertisements. He also stressed the creation of vending zones to support street hawkers. He directed authorities to provide farmers at wheat procurement centers with affordable meals. They must also provide free drinking water and proper seating.
Additionally, he mandated the establishment of hostels and affordable canteens for working women, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to social welfare. With these measures, the Uttar Pradesh government aims to maintain law and order while pushing forward key development initiatives
