Indian Coast Guard Battles Blaze on MV WAN HAI 503 Amid Rough Seas

Aerial Firefighting Team Disperses DCP to Control Blaze Early this morning, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) carried out a determined operation. They continued firefighting efforts aboard container vessel MV WAN HAI 503. They worked despite turbulent sea conditions. A specially trained crew was deployed. The team comprised a pilot and two aircrew divers. They used an Indian Air Force MI-17 helicopter to conduct aerial firefighting.
