Operation Sindhu: India evacuates hundreds from Iran-Israel

On 18th June 2025, in view of the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, India started Operation Sindhu. The aim was to safely evacuate Indian nationals stranded in the conflict zone. In total, 2,295 Indians have been safely brought back from there. Evacuation from Iran A group of Indian nationals stranded in conflict-hit Iran was successfully brought home.
