Many Families Feared Trapped due to Recent Cloudburst in Rudraprayag

Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand was hit with a cloudburst on Thursday night leaving several families trapped and caused multiple injuries, officials said. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said debris flows blocked several areas and left many stranded. Rescue and relief operations were under way through the night. In a post on 'X', he said a distressing report indicates cloudbursts occurred in the Bareth Dungar Tok area. This area is under the Buskedar tehsil of Rudraprayag district.
